Through the iron security gate and down the drive lined with mountain laurel, Emma’s sits grandly in privacy and seclusion which is indeed rare.
this big log lodge is a hidden treasure of gracious accommodations in the midst of the mountains.

Just inside the covered entrance deck, Emma’s entrance hallway opens up to a massive 23 foot vaulted main living area with a glass and beam wall taking in the forest with all its natural beauty.

Complete with a large stone gas logs fireplace, 42” flat screen TV / DVD an antique oak writing desk, this main living area has three supremely comfortable distressed leather sofas, one being a queen sleeper sofa.

Out past the main living area is the wide, covered deck with its Char-Broil gas grill, iron picnic table, pub table, rocking chairs, and eight person hot tub. Prepare for lots of time in this hot tub, soaking up the heated streams of soothing bubbles, and taking in the gorgeous natural forest surrounding you!

Between the bamboo – floored living area and the kitchen sits another opportunity for fun – a double topped playing card and bumper pool table.

And the cooks will want to take up permanent residence in the large, open beam kitchen.
There’s the best in Maytag and Hamilton Beach appliances, granite counter tops, and convenient access to the dining and living areas.

The dining room at Emma’s received special attention from the designer and builder, and you won’t forget the huge, ten person English oak table in this slate floored cathedral masterpiece. This is the sort of special dining area you will want to enjoy your family’s greatest occasions and celebrations in.

Just off the main living area is the main floor king bedroom suite. This very private place is furnished in American wormy oak, with an eight drawer chest and two matching end chests with lamps, 20” flat screen TV / DVD, and easy chair. The bath offers both a shower and private whirlpool tub, completing your personal escape space in the midst of this social gatherings lodge.

Upstairs, the bamboo floored vaulted billiards area looks out over the great room and forest beyond, through that massive glass and beam wall. A simple game of billiards will become an unforgettable experience!

There are three cathedral vaulted bedrooms upstairs. The first is a classic American walnut king suite with a full shower bath, ten drawer chest, matching end chest with lamp, easy chair, and 20” flat screen TV / DVD. The two queen bedrooms on the right share a bath with shower tub.

For more convenience, there is a shower bath in the entrance hallway, along with a large utility room with a Maytag washer and dryer.

At Emma’s, you will find every room and amenity to be well thought out, spacious and private. Years after your stay you will still be remarking “ what a place!”

• Limo or van services for airport arrivals, we will also help you with rental car reservations so your car is waiting in your cabin or lodges driveway when you arrive.
